Joint Training through Job-Related Learning: Summarizing, Improving, and Moving Forward—Haiyan County Commerce and Trade School Holds a Summary Event for the 20th Class of Accounting Professionals’ Modern Apprenticeship Program

To achieve the training objectives of the school’s accounting program and fully leverage the roles of industries and enterprises in the reform and innovation of secondary vocational education, thereby fostering deeper cooperation between education and industry as well as between schools and enterprises, Haiyan County Commerce and Trade School has launched a modern apprenticeship dual-mentorship practice program for the accounting major in collaboration with Zhejiang Qinsan Cable Co., Ltd. After 40 days of on-the-job practice, both teachers and students have gained abundant insights and experiences. To summarize the work conducted thus far, the school and Zhejiang Qinsan Cable Co., Ltd. held a concluding event for the modern apprenticeship practice on the afternoon of May 11.

01. Visit Qingshan Beituan and Experience the “Rural Future”

In the first part of the activity, led by Wang Qinwei, General Manager of Qingshan Cable Co., Ltd., more than 40 students and teachers from the School of Commerce who are involved in the modern apprenticeship program visited Beituan Village in Qingshan Town.

Through the guide’s narration and on-site experiences, this new-era beautiful countryside living circle—integrating red culture education, ecological tourism, and salt culture experiences—allows visitors to fully appreciate the charm of a provincial “future village.”

02. Holding an awards ceremony: School-enterprise cooperation in talent development

In the second part of the event, both the school and the enterprise held a ceremony to recognize participants in the modern apprenticeship program.

At the ceremony, Mr. Wang, General Manager of Qingshan Cable Co., Ltd., praised this university-enterprise cooperation and dual-mentorship program. He noted that the initiative not only addressed the company’s short-term staffing needs but also effectively tackled the challenge of finding suitable internship and training positions for students majoring in accounting. He expressed that the company would take this event as an opportunity to continue fostering further collaboration in the future.

Vice Principal Zhou Wanghua expressed gratitude to the company for providing an excellent platform for students’ internship opportunities at the school, and extended heartfelt encouragement to the students, urging them to focus on their academic studies and to diligently enhance their practical professional skills, so as to strive hard for better career prospects in the future.

Subsequently, the school and enterprise leaders jointly presented certificates and prizes to the 16 outstanding apprentices who had excelled both academically and in character. Finally, a plaque-awarding ceremony was held, during which Zhejiang Qingshan Cable Co., Ltd. was awarded the titles of “Internship and Training Base of Haiyan County Commerce and Trade School” and “Mobile Practice Station for Teachers of Haiyan County Commerce and Trade School.”

03. Visit renowned enterprises and experience industrial culture.

In the third part of the event, led by General Manager Wang, everyone visited Qinshan’s renowned enterprise—Hailian Saw Industry Technology Co., Ltd. Established in 1993, the company is one of the earliest specialized manufacturers in China to produce jigsaw blades, reciprocating saw blades, multi-functional saw blades, hand saws, TCT alloy saw blades, and gardening tool accessories.

By visiting the sample exhibition hall, watching promotional videos, and having face-to-face discussions with company executives, the students gained an understanding of the company’s development journey and its strong vitality as a specialized, refined, and innovative “Little Giant” enterprise.
